You need to go to the blogger dashboard. Then go to Settings>Formatting and then change the “Date Header Format”.

what do you change the date header format to?? I tried 5 or 6 different ones without success.

First go to the blogger dashboard. Then go to Settings>Formatting and then change the “Date Header Format”. This should do the trick!

I went the the process lined out as well and it didn’t work but then I stumbled on what seemed to work for me. The ‘Date Header Format’ had to match the ‘Timestamp Format’ on the same page. When I made sure those were the same, the ‘undefined’ went away and the date bar came up like it is supposed to.
Settings> Formatting> change Date Header Format & Timestamp Format so they match > Save and then View Blog.
I don’t know if that will work for everyone but it is what fixed it for me.
